Sardines Kikiam

Sardines Kikiam
Last time Lumpia and Siomai, here’s another easy way to make sardines more appealing and palatable, Kikiam. I just called this Kikiam because it looks like kikiam when cooked. Also, the characteristic of kikiam that grows big when cooked and shrinks when cooled is observed.
You will need:
1 can of sardines, drained
1 medium sized onion, minced or shredded
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg
2 tsps. Baking powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Here’s how to do it:
Just mix all the ingredients. Get about 1 tbsp. and deep fry until golden brown. Serve while hot with dip of your choice (sauce or vinegar). You may also use this for pancit.

Simple and easy, right?
