Unboxing Trax Orbitrac

This is an overdue post. Pardon for sharing this late.

I almost achieved my 2016 weight –loss goal. From 195 lbs I hit the scale at 165-mark at the end of the year.

For most, they thought that I had to sacrifice my eating habits and visits the gym regularly. But not. Just check it HERE.

Also, my weight-loss goal will not be possible without Mommy's company. She sheds extra pounds too.

This year, I wanted to continue living “healthier”. I need to tone saggy skin. We have already sets of weights at home but I think this is not yet enough.

Buti na lang Mommy allows me to spend the savings for my auditor’s training and purchase a new toy for me – a stationary bike. Christmas Gift daw sa akin.  We need to add cardio activities.

I got this Trax Orbitrac 3rd Generation from Chris Sports - SM Marilao Branch. This originally priced at  PhP7,499 but I got this with a 10% discount.

Since we don’t have a spacious service, I just checked the parts and assembled it at home. Assembling is easy since it is already provided with tools needed for tightening or loosening screws and bolts and nuts.

Here is how it looks like after about 2 hours of assembling.

Footrest.

The foot rest is wide enough making you more comfortable as you use. It is sturdy too that you can stand while using the bike.

Handle.
The handle is cushioned with foam making it not slip and doesn’t hurt your palms and you go. The handles could not be set to stationary like the other brands.

Saddle.

The seat is cushioned and adjustable for optimum support that can hold up to 110 kilos.

Tension adjuster.
There is a knob that is used to adjust the tension of the bike for a better challenge.

Monitor Screen.

Trax Orbitrac is equipped with a digital monitor that counts your speed, distance, time and calories burned. I not sure if this gives reliable results when it comes to calories burned.

I am looking forward that this will give great results after months of using. Though the calories burned based on the monitor is not that high, having some cardio activities is still good for the health.

As of now, I am just enjoying using Trax Ortbitrac. It really works most of my body parts.

Working out either cardio or toning is best done listening to upbeat music. Either by headset or a multimedia speaker at home attached to a cellphone or any music player. I prefer using a headset so it won’t disturb others at home. Good thing that I have a nice headset with my phone to enjoy the music in my playlist.

If you are looking for tools that will give you a good sound, search for the Shure brand and check it out!

Do you have fitness equipment at home too?
