I’m here again from my hiatus and hopefully can share more recipes to you. Now, I am here with a famous snack or side dish – Butchi.

You will need:
2 cups glutinous rice flour
½ cup white sugar
¾ cups water
1 cup munggo bean paste (boiled munggo beans, drained, mashed then added with sugar or condensed milk. Heat until become like a paste).

Pork Kare-Kare with Mama Sita

Since Mommy is not used to eat beef, I used pork instead. Also, I haven’t tried making this dish from scratch. I usually do this using Mama Sita’s Kare-kare mix. However, I want to cook this dish from scratch. By the way here’s what I did for pork kare-kare.

You will need:
250 grams pork, cut into cubes boiled until tender
1 bunch of pechay or bok choy, blanched
1 bundle string beans, blanched
2-3 pieces eggplant, sliced and blanched
1 pack Mama Sita’s Kare-kare Mix dissolved in ½ cup of water
1 onion, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced
