Pork Kilawin

Pork Kilawin
I learned to cook this dish when I was 10. Mama called this one as pork kilawin while others referred this as variety of pork igado minus the veggies. Well, whatever they called this one, I’ll just share it.

You will need:
1/2 kilo pork meat, sliced
½ kilo pork liver, sliced
1 medium-sized onion, minced
4-6 tbsp vinegar
3-4 laurel leaves
Patis and pepper to taste
Chili, optional if you want it spicy

Here’s how to do it:
Just sauté onion meat and liver until meat is already cooked. Add ¼ cup water, vinegar, water laurel leaves then season with patis and pepper depending on your preference. Simmer until remaining sauce thickens. Add chili if you want a bit spicy.
