Embutido ala Chemist Dad

Embutido ala Daddy with yang chow rice
Sometimes, we are thinking what to have for our breakfast. Hirap kasi mag-isip araw so I came up preparing food for breakfast over the weekends that can be kept in the fridge or freezer and can be cooked in the morning. I made skinless longganisa which I posted my recipe on my other blog before and embutido special. What makes this special? I simply placed hotdog in the middle.

Here is my own recipe of embutido:

You will need:
½ kilo ground pork
1 medium sized carrots, finely chopped
1 medium sized onion, finely chopped
1 small can green peas, drained
½ cup raisins
1 whole egg
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground pepper
Hotdogs for filling, optional

Here’s how to do it:
Mix thoroughly all the ingredient.
Grease the aluminum foil with oil. Place about ½ cup of the mixture place hotdog in the middle and roll. Seal the edges of the foil and steam for about 30 minutes. Let it cool and store in the fridge until ready for cooking.

On cooking: Fry in oil until golden brown. Place in a kitchen towel to remove excess oil. Slice diagonally with about half-inch thick and serve with catsup.
