Kitchen Tips: How to Peel Garlic Easily

how to peel garlic easily, Kitchen Tips,

Cooking is not complete without garlic, in most cases I assume. However, peeling the said ingredient is one of the most tedious task especially when there are occasions and you need to peel lots of it. Malagkit na, mainit pa sa kamay.

There are lots of ways on how you can easily remove garlic's skin.

Using mortar and pestle is one option but you are going to pound the entire cloves and eventually the peel will be mixed while pounding.

However, there is another easy way to peel garlic. All you need is a jar with cover. I got this idea from one of my high school classmates/friends - Connie who is the author of Coney's Kitchen.

For me, this method seems the easiest one and you can peel lots of bulb of garlic in just minutes.

Place the whole bulb of garlic in a jar and cover.

  7. Thanks for the tip! It's always fun to learn new things. I usually just crush garlic using a knife but this looks more practical when I have to peel lots of garlic.
