I just want to share another experimental pasta
dish we had last week. I just called this one as Tuna-Penne Pasta. This is easy
to do especially on those who are always on the go.
You will need:
500 grams Penne pasta, cooked according to
direction tossed with butter or oil
1 can tuna flakes in oil
2 tbsp. butter
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup all-purpose cream
¼ cup condensed milk
¼ cup Del Monte Cheesy Cream
1 medium sized red bell pepper, chopped
1 medium-sized onion, chopped
1 cup sliced button mushroom
Salt and pepper to taste
Here’s how to do it:
In a sauce pan, melt the butter over low heat and
saute onion, tuna flakes and mushroom. Add all-purpose flour and stir until
turned into paste. Add 2-3 cups of water and simmer. Add the remaining
ingredients. Simmer with constant stirring until thickens. Toss in pasta and mix until pasta is covered
with sauce.
We had paired this pasta with tuna tacos.
Tip/s: Tossing the pasta with a bit of oil prevents
sticking together.
