Ginger-Green Tea

Summer is just around the corner and we need to have some refreshing drinks to beat the scorching heat of the sun. In order to avoid getting bored with the usual fruit juices, why not make a healthier option by your own.

You will need:
1 stalk lemon grass, pound
2 Green Tea bags, you may choose other tea you want
1 thumb-size ginger, thinly sliced
½ cup calamansi juice
Sugar and ice

Here’s how to do:
In a pot, boil about a liter of water. Drop the remaining ingredients except for sugar and ice. When the water turned dark just like an ordinary tea, remove from heat. Set aside to cool down.

In a glass, put sugar or honey and ice. Pour the prepared tea mixture and enjoy.
