"Flying Saucer" Sandwich

I remember when I was in high-school, there is an eatery inside the campus that does sandwich and later called flying saucer because of its shape. I missed this snack and I asked Mommy if she wants to have this as our Saturday afternoon merienda and she agreed since she missed this too.

You will need:
Burger buns
Eggs, scrambled or sunny side-up
Mayonnaise
Slices of cheese
Margarine or butter

Here’s how to do it:
Beat 2 pieces eggs and mayonnaise until thoroughly mixed. Fry into a bit smaller diameter than the buns. Set aside.

Slice the bun into two and spread mayonnaise on the inner sides. Place the fried eggs and cheese.

In a pan, melt about teaspoon margarine and place the prepared bun. press the sandwich as much as you can using a flat side of the ladle. Flip and cook the other side.

Tip/s:
This can be easily made using waffle maker.
You may use other fillings like ham, bacon or even burgers.
