Pininyahang Baboy

Pininyahang Baboy
I would like to give thanks to Miss Rizza of cookinglikeapro.net for sharing her recipe of pork pineapple. I would like to share how I created the same dish.

You will need:
½ kilo pork, cut into chunks
3 pieces potato, cut into chunks
1 medium-size carrot, cut into chunks
1 each green and red bell pepper, sliced
1 small can of pineapple tidbits, drained, syrup saved
1 laurel leaf
½ cup evaporated milk
½ cup all-purpose cream
1 onion, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste

Here what to do:
Sauté onion and garlic in 1 tbsp butter and add pork. Add laurel leaf and pineapple tidbits syrup. Simmer until pork changes its color. Add 1 cup of water, potato, carrots, salt and pepper.  Continue to simmer until veggies are cooked. Add evaporated milk, all-purpose flour, pineapple tidbits, and bell pepper. Simmer over the lowest possible heat for about 1 minute.
