Burger Steak in Mushroom Gravy Sauce |
Jollibee is one of my son’s favorite which made me inspired
to make one of their meals.
You
will need:
For
the patties
½ kilo
ground meat
3
pieces pandesal or 3 slices of loaf bread moistened with 2 tbsp evaporated milk
1
onion, minced
1
celery stalk minced
1
tsp salt
1
tsp pepper
1
egg
For
the gravy:
1
tbsp butter or margarine
1
tbsp cooking oil
1 pc
onion minced
2
tbsp all-purpose flour
1
cup chicken stock
1
can sliced mushrooms
1
tsp soy sauce
Here’s
how to do it:
For the patties: Mix
all the ingredients and form into patties. Fry until golden brown both sides. Set
aside.
For
the gravy: Heat oil and butter. Saute onion and mushroom. Add flour until
turned into paste. Add chicken stock and 1 tsp soy sauce. Simmer until thicken.
Pour over patties. And serve with steamed rice.
Tip/s:
When using butter or margarine for sauteing, always mix with oil to avoid being burnt.
