Burger Steak in Mushroom Gravy Sauce

Burger Steak in Mushroom Gravy Sauce
Jollibee is one of my son’s favorite which made me inspired to make one of their meals.

You will need:
For the patties
½ kilo ground meat
3 pieces pandesal or 3 slices of loaf bread moistened with 2 tbsp evaporated milk
1 onion, minced
1 celery stalk minced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 egg

For the gravy:
1 tbsp butter or margarine
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 pc onion minced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken stock
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 tsp soy sauce

Here’s how to do it:
For the patties: Mix all the ingredients and form into patties. Fry until golden brown both sides. Set aside.

For the gravy: Heat oil and butter. Saute onion and mushroom. Add flour until turned into paste. Add chicken stock and 1 tsp soy sauce. Simmer until thicken. Pour over patties. And serve with steamed rice.

Tip/s:
When using butter or margarine for sauteing, always mix with oil to avoid being burnt.
