Pork Adobo the Chemist Dad Way

I know Adobo is one of the trademark of the Philippines when it comes to foods. There are many ways of cooking this one and here is mine, inspired by NewsTV 11's Idol sa Kusina.
You will need:
1/2 kilo pork liempo
6 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp pepper
5 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
2 laurel leaves
cooking oil
2 cups of water

Here's how to do it:
Mix all the ingredients in a pot and put in medium heat. Let it simmer until meat is tender. Separate the meat from the sauce and fry stir-fry in cooking oil for about 5 minutes. Return the meat in the sauce and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Serve over steamed rice.
