Panna Cotta ala Daddy

Mango Panna Cotta

You will need:
1 cup of evaporated milk
½ cup condensed milk dissolved in ½ cup water
1 pack of unflavored powdered gulaman (Brand: Mister Gulaman) bloom in ½ cup of evaporated milk for about 5 minutes (I used yellow)
1 cup all-purpose cream
Sweetened mango for toppings

Here’s how to do it:
In a saucepan, put evaporated milk and condensed milk mixture and put over low heat. When it started to simmer, add the bloomed gulaman and whisk until completely dissolved. Remove from heat and mix the all-purpose cream and pour into molds. Chill in fridge until set and top with sweetened mango and syrup (mix mango and 1/2 cup sugar and simmer until mangoes are cooked) before serving.

Isn’t it very simple?

Tips:
For healthier option, you may replace evaporated milk with non-fat milk, condensed milk with ¼ cup honey (but increase the quantity of non-fat milk to 1 ½ cup if using honey), all-purpose cream with plain yogurt.

You can also use fresh fruits as toppings except mango, pineapple, or kiwi. These fruits will have components that can break down gelatin.

You can also use ice cream instead of all-purpose cream.

If you are using chilled all-purpose cream or ice cream, be sure to mix it fast and immediately put into molds.
